ZION VOLUNTEERS ARE NEEDED FOR GRACE HOUSE
Grace House, the homeless shelter, is up
and running! A huge "thank you" to the volunteers who have helped make
Grace House a success!
Please call Jill Schubert, Director of
Grace House, at 326-2790 to volunteer and find out
about training sessions.
ZION VOLUNTEERS ARE NEEDED FOR OPEN CLOSET
Help is needed for Thursdays, the day they
are open, and also on other days to fold and straighten the clothes. If
you are available to give a little of your time please call the office,
326-8553.
Can you Clean? Can you Vacuum? What can you do???
Zion needs our help - the building that
is - additional help is needed to maintain our wonderful church building.
There are already many great people helping with the cleaning and up keep of our
church. BUT - more are needed! If you are able to help in any way,
please call Allen Gilbertson, 326-9538, he along with the Building Committee
will match jobs with talents.
This does not have to be a big
commitment, remember many hands make lighter work!
Men of Zion -- You are Needed!
Second Harvest Food Bank needs us on the 2nd TUESDAY of each
month at 8:00am for about 3 hours. We help with packing food, etc.
The Food bank is located on Highway 2 East in LaPrairie.
Filler Blankets for Quilts Needed
Love Project is in need of (clean) filler blankets for their quilts. If you are willing to donate, they may be dropped off at church. Thank you!
Community Cafe
Zion is responsible for supplying workers for the "Community Cafe" each first Thursday of the month. Twelve workers are needed. For details, questions, or to volunteer
contact the church office, 326-8553.
Member Emergency Assistance Fund
With the increasing need in our community we have now gotten requests for assistance. If you would like to give towards this fund please designate checks or money to: Member Emergency Assistance Fund.
These funds will be dispersed at the discretion of the pastors to members in need.
