Release Time Ministry

This is a citywide program where youth are released from school to attend a religious education program.  We partner with St. Andrew's Lutheran Church and the United Methodist Church for this program.

 

We start each session with 15 minutes of large group, where we introduce the theme of the day, and sing 3 or 4 songs.  We then break-up into small groups for 40-45 minutes for the lesson, followed by a snack.  We meet back together for a short reflection on the lesson, a song, and we close with the Lord's Prayer.
