Sunday School
Preschool – 5th Grade
9:45-10:45am
Sunday School begins at 9:45am after Zion’s 8:30am worship service. The students gather in the Fellowship Hall right behind the worship sanctuary. We begin with a song, take an offering, have a donut hole, and say a prayer. Then the students go to their classrooms with their teachers. The classes are divided up by age groups – preschool, kindergarten-1st grade, 2nd-3rd grade, and 4th-5th grade. The Sunday School students will study classic Bible stories and learn of God’s faithful love and grace for our lives. We will also be challenging the younger students to memorize Bible passages. We’ll have special rewards for those who can recite the passage. We’ll also have other awards for those who have regular attendance. Parents can pick up their children at their classrooms at 10:45am. This leaves plenty of time to attend the 11:00am service if that is your family’s tradition.
Parents will receive a monthly newsletter telling what the Sunday School students will be doing next. It will also include the memory verses. The teachers invite the parents to come join the class one Sunday a month. This is a great way to assist with the faith formation of one’s children.

will be best if you can, you won’t want to miss out on any of the great FUN we
will be having!!!

Part I
Come to the Youth Room for the first part of Middle School Youth Group! We will
be doing a variety of things - discussing, playing & watching, and maybe start
something that will continue that evening!
6:00-7:30pm
Part II
Back you come in the evening for the second part of youth group. We will be
doing lots of fun God stuff. Campfires, games, service project, chatting,
things that you will not want to miss out on!
