 Growing In Faith Together - GIFT Our theme for this year is Growing In Faith Together, or GIFT. No matter how
old we are or how long we’ve been involved in the Church, there is always room
to grow in faith. Our relationship with God, like any relationship, needs to be
continually fed and strengthened or it fades and dies and becomes almost
irrelevant. This year we will focus on our faith, and how to strengthen and feed
our faith through worship, prayer, Bible study, devotion and stewardship of our
time, our talents and our material gifts. The true blessing is, as we grow in
faith, we grow as well in the peace and joy we know in life. Growing In Faith
Together - a GIFT for this year! Be a part of the opportunities and let’s grow
together! Zion The Book of Mark These three weeks, we will watch a video of a live performance of the Book of Mark, the primary Gospel texts we will be using in 2012. We will watch an actor tell Come when you can! Men’s NO STUDY ON DECEMBER 26th! |
Nativity Sets Needed for December 18th! Would you consider bringing your own nativity set or even one that is handmade? It could be as simple as just a cradle and babe or? Please no precious, fragile sets. You may include a simple card retelling the story as you see it. You may bring them Saturday the 17th between 10 am and 3 pm. Or set them up yourself before the first service on the 18th, Sunday. Rectangular tables will be set up with a brown (Bethlehem ground) cover. No nativities before Saturday! ADVENT WORSHIP Join us for worship in this season of preparation for the coming of our Savior. We wait in silence, we hope for new life, we pray for healing, and we prepare our hearts to receive the Messiah who comes to us as a weak and innocent child.
