Meetings are held on the first Tuesday of the month at 6:00 p.m. at Zion.
Zion's Social Ministry Committee is involved in our congregation, local community and world to help serve those who are hungry, thirsty, homeless, sick, lonely and in special need of God's love during difficult times in their lives:
Member Emergency Fund: In this time of increasing need in our community - if
you want to give toward Zion's member emergency fund please designate checks or
money to: Member Emergency Fund. These funds will be dispersed at the discretion
of the pastors to members in need. (Pastor Lynn or Pastor Mike at 326-8553)

Farmers' Market for World Hunger (summer and fall).

Habitat for Humanity Cookie Bake and Sale

Food for Friends (meals on a short-term basis during an emergency: Gayle Helmer).

Transportation to Zion on Sunday morning (Alice Sarkela).

Tape Ministry for those who cannot get to Zion Sunday services (Carole Newton).

Visitation (Mary Bakke).
**
World Hunger (Souper Bowl Sunday and other events during the year).
**
Christmas Toy Box for the Second Harvest Food Bank (begins December 1 of each year.)

The Open Closet distributing free, gently-used clothing to those in need. Thursdays -- 11:30am to 5:30pm
