Senior Pastor

Pastor Lynn Ronsberg    lynn@ziongrandrapidsmn.org

Pastor Lynn Ronsberg has been the Senior Pastor at Zion since May of 1998. She graduated from Concordia College, Moorhead, MN and Luther Theological Seminary in St. Paul, MN. Ordained in 1979 she has served several congregations as pastor in northern Minnesota as well as Concordia college and Oak Grove Lutheran High School as campus pastor. Prior to coming to Zion in 1998, Pastor Lynn served Mount Olive Lutheran Church in Rochester, MN.
 

Associate Pastor

Pastor Mike Carlson  mike@ziongrandrapidsmn.org

Pastor Mike Carlson comes to us with many years of youth and family ministry experience.  He attended the University of Minnesota Duluth where he pursued a degree in philosophy, and is a graduate of Wartburg Theological Seminary in Dubuque, Iowa.  Mike also works as a speaker, trainer and consultant for the Youth and Family Institute and travels all over the United States, teaching and preaching on the wonders of God's powerful and transforming love.  He lives in Grand Rapids with his wife Tammy and his three boys, two dogs and two cats.  The Carlson family enjoys camping, canoeing, hiking and good movies!  Pastor Mike joined the staff in June 2004.

Director of Music

STUART BOEHR

Stuart joined the Zion staff as Director of Worship & Music in August of 2007. He came from Richfield Lutheran Church in Mpls. where he was choir director, bell director and organist for eleven years. Prior to that he served churches in Bloomington, MN, and Watertown, WIS. Mr. Boehr has been a church organist since his freshman year in high school, and few Sundays since then have not seen him on an organ bench. Stuart has music degrees from Bethel College and Wichita State, both in Kansas. Prior to coming to Grand Rapids, Stuart was also a Suzuki Piano Teacher at the St. Paul Conservatory. Stuart hails from Henderson, Nebraska where his older brother is the fourth generation on the homesteaded farm.
 

Director of Youth & Family Ministries

Nikki Rud

Nikki has been the Director of Youth and Family Ministry since February of 2007. Before becoming "official" in her role at Zion she taught and was a coordinator of the Sunday School program, served as the chair for the Baptismal Ministry Committee, was the Cherub Choir Director and did various other projects and tasks in a volunteer capacity. Nikki resides in Grand Rapids with her husband, Chris, and their three children: Madison, Isaac and Catherine.

Administrative Secretary

Sylvia Olson   sylvia@ziongrandrapidsmn.org

Sylvia has been a part of Zion's staff since 1978. She is responsible for the congregation's membership and contribution records; prepares all financial information as Financial Secretary; and maintains Zion's web page.

Receptionist

Lori Dauphinais   lori@ziongrandrapidsmn.org

Lori joined Zion's staff in 2001. Her responsibilities include Zion's monthly newsletter, Sunday bulletins, maintaining the Church Calendar and scheduling the use of Zion's building.
