Creation - Day One

"In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was without form, and darkness was upon the face of the deep and the Spirit of God was moving over the face of the waters," putting into motion His plan for cosmos from chaos, for matter from void, for life from nothingness.

Through the fine touch of the stained glass artists, Ken & Jo Manbeck-Patzoldt, the windows at the front of our church portray the beautiful story of Creation, as recorded in Genesis I. With their interest and expertise, the artists have incorporated their love and respect of nature in depicting the continuing story of Creation, unfolding visually in front of us...as the River of Life...moving through time and space.

God said, "Let there be light" -- and there was light...and it was called "day,"
and the darkness was called "Night."
