"The Reuben Johnson Memorial Baptismal Window"

As we enter the sanctuary of Zion, near the baptismal font and window, we are reminded that it is through the Sacrament of Baptism, that we become children of God, and heirs of His Kingdom.

In the stained glass design...the artists have depicted the beauty of His Creation through their use of natural colors, the movements of the gentle wind and flow of water, the strength of the sun...all giving balance to live, as it was intended, by God.

Fittingly, this window is given in memory of Pastor Reuben Johnson who served Zion's congregation with love and dedication from 1948 to 1972.

Like the artists, he, too, was one who loved and respected nature and saw it as part of God's plan...entrusted to our wise use and care.

Based on information from the book of Genesis, from Ken and Jo Manbeck-Patzoldt, the artists, and from the sermon given by Pastor Roger Anderson at the time of the dedication of the windows.
